I am thankful for the words of this book. It reminds me of the everyday living. Holiness or sanctification was what I was missing for my daily bread. As I strayed away for the perfection for the blessing of the world and not for the temple of the body, I' have learned to pay more attention  for the perfection of my inner most dwelling because this is what is presented to their Lord as my sacrifice to enter into Heaven.  God Expect perfect 24/7 just like the beasts of Revelation, They worship day and night shouting holy, holy, holy AMEN. Clyde Brown- financial student

In an age where sin is seldom preached, personal holiness is condensed down to maybe a dirty dozen do or don’t items and holiness is more feared than sin it is refreshing to see a call to personal holiness by Mr. Hignight’s book.  While there are some points of his theology that can be debated there is no debate when it comes to God hating sin.   He does.  If we focus on stopping sin at temptation and actually engage in spiritual warfare we shall see far more victory than if we sit on the sidelines arguing over where the temptation comes from.   Regardless of the source, temptation not resisted and stopped is sin and conduct unbecoming a Christian that needs to be repented of and forgiven.  It is time to stop reading 1 John 1:9 as “when we sin” indicating justification for continuing sin as if we are helpless to stop at temptation thus contradicting clear teaching of Scripture contrary to that popular opinion.  The passage says “if we sin” indicating that sin should be a rare failure, not a lifestyle, for saints bought by the blood of Christ.  Focus on winning, not recovering from failure, and change your life and maybe even the Church and the world. “… Consider your ways.”  Haggai 1:7 -   Dr Ronald Shultz

53yr old  Robert Martinez said this after reading the book, “simplifies things in a complex world, renewed my thinking about spiritual warfare and how to STOP at temptation.” “This renewed perspective of power was always there but new to me. “I highly recommend to others to read this.”  “It has changed my life.”

I am thankful of the TVP concepts and the book God Expects Perfect my new life is to rejoice in the Lord when I am tempted and pray for someone. Since I have caught hold of the TVP, my spiritual feet have not touched the ground of the sin filled world around me. Check out the book God Expects Perfect for yourself it changed my life and it can change yours like the TVP logo says “Learn it, Live it, Share it! –

Dear Randy Hignight,
I'm fourteen years old. I am writing to you about your book God Expects Perfect. This book is one of the greatest Christian books I have ever read. I love how the book tells and shows you verses in the Bible, to show and prove that what you are saying to help others in their walk with God. I strongly recommend that you read this book, not because it’s good to read, but you need to read it, because it not only talks about God and related Christian events; it talks about the dark side of the world "devils", which most books wouldn’t talk about. It is probably because people would choose not to believe me, but I tell you it is very true. People shouldn’t hide what is going on in this world, and this book shows it! I thought it was going to be bad, but it wasn’t at all when I read it. I just thought, "Huh, this IS what is going on in the world, and we need to do our best to share our faith with people not to stop, but to avoid it when we are temped and how we will be rewarded when we go to heaven when we die. This is what I think of this amazing book! - Daniel

Randy I will have to buy another book. After I got home every one started reading the book and they all love it, And my turn has not come yet!!! Alfred C. Hearne - EKG technologist

It has given me an anointing of boldness to tell people what God expects!  - Richard – Helicopter bonding and prison ministry.

Life should be a source of experience the words in the book is a experience of dealing with life. The book helped me grow mentally and spiritually with my faith in God. I want to thank Randy for his powerful words. - Taraellan L. Dillard

My name is Altha Busby and because of Mr. Hignight a co-worker of mine, I’ve gotten a new lease on life, and it feels really great! Mr. Hignight’s book entitled God Expects Perfect has let me know that I can live my life more abundantly. I don’t have to sin any more because of my so called “sin nature”. God expects perfect, and this book directs me to the scriptures which tell me how to overcome when evil confronts me.  Mrs. Altha N. Busby – age 62

Frustrated my whole Christian life not being able to conquer the sins and temptations. Always felt like something missing in my life. The book God Expects Perfect spoke to me in a since of what I always felt this Christian life should be. Now I am able to so much work closer to the victory. In 2005 cancer of the prostate now the PSA levels show I have to go to radiation treatment but, now I have a renewed perspective of how God will always allow me to take thoughts captive to not fail the test. This book has been a great blessing to me . Thank you Randy I am telling people around me how this book has helped me. God bless you! Jim Mc Lachlan – semiconductor factory worker

With a friendly "big brother who's been there" style, author Randy Hignight challenges us to
attain a life that is pleasing to God. Make no mistake, this book is NOT about perfectionism- (which is for self-) but is about developing the strategy we so badly need to live in this sinful world as it is (to the glory of God.) A fantastic resource for new believers and old-timers alike- so we can all grow in Christ and enjoy total victory!

Dear Randy: As I was meditating yesterday, I was reviewing Psalm 19, 12-13:  “Who can discern his errors? Forgive my hidden faults.  Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me.  Then will I be blameless, innocent of great transgression.”  Your book helped put words to something I have wondered about for some time:  How can the Holy Spirit dwell beside a corrupt human sin nature?  The answer is that He will not!  Jesus took the punishment so that the indwelling Spirit could inhabit a clean vessel.  We can sin, but we need not sin!  Our temptation comes from outside us or from memories of bad habits.  We have been given the power to break those old habits and resist those temptations. Thank You, Jesus.  I am NOT dragging around that old rotting carcass of the “old man”.   Blessings! - A’Ree

The book God Expects Perfect has helped me get my feet on the ground because the things Jesus did, I can walk in Him. My opinion Randy is on target and God is perfecting that which concerneth me. I am now in minister training and no longer running as Jonah! That which he calls he anoints and equips. Randy’s book is full of inspired words and, I commend him for being bold and true. I believe I wouldn’t be on track without God and Randy’s heart, I recommend this book to anyone who has repeatedly failed to serve God. God would not ask us to do something that he would not help us to do. AMEN Randy thanks - Robert L McGee, Radiographic

Before reading Randy’s book “God Expects Perfect” I was a little shocked by the title.. Does God really expect me to be “Perfect? I was already of the belief that, as the scriptures state, when I accepted Christ as my savior, at that very moment I became a new creation.. my old man was buried .. Crucified with Christ.  The book opened my eyes to two very important truths. First the reality of a spiritual realm, and the influence of demons or fallen angels on humanity through temptation. Secondly, As Christians, we can call upon the power of the Holy Spirit to resist temptation as Jesus did.  Then I started reading verse after verse that affirmed the “Total Victory Perspective” that Randy writes about.  First: I have known that a spiritual realm exists. It is very clear in Eph 6:10-12 – “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places]. Resist the Devil and he will flee.
Second: As 2 Timothy 3:5 states “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof…” As Christians we have this great power to resist the temptations of the devil, but we have been conditioned to blame our indiscretions on our “Sinful nature”.. a nature that has been crucified, buried, cut away by Christ and replaced totally by the Holy Spirit.  You don’t have to look far to find yet another confirmation. At the end of that Chapter. Timothy reaffirms God’s calling for his people to be perfect.
2Ti 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. I believe the modern church has been preaching and living a defeatist doctrine. Yes, we live under grace,. But God extends his grace to us “If we sin”..Not “when we sin.” When we sin sets into action the idea that we are destined to fail. We must live in the Total Victory Perspective.. outlined in the book.  Randy’s book is a testimony, a prophetic word to this generation. I highly recommend it to all Christians who need to renew their strength through the power of the Holy Spirit living inside them. It is time to put away the things of this world and live a victorious life in Jesus. - Jorge L. Arbelaez Jr.

After reading and dissecting the book written by Randy Hignight “God Expects Perfect “ (The Total Victory Perspective), I found that it is an excellent tool for the non-believer to understand and come to Jesus Christ and except Him as their Lord and Savior. Also I feel that for some Christians who are having trouble with their faith in knowing that God and only God in the holy, matchless name of Jesus Christ is the way out of any and all situations, no matter how small or big, this book will help guide them to the scriptures to their Victory in Christ. (Sin can stop at temptation!) No matter how you strive to be perfect, without Christ it is impossible, but “We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.” It is also a good tool for the young people so that they can know that it is possible to live for God even in this world through the word of God and only God. For God in the name of Jesus receives ALL the glory and the praise. I have been very blessed to have always been under excellent Christian Leadership all of my life and for that I thank God. Satan can only tempt, but with Jesus we have the total victory and the strength to say NO WAY. – Mrs. Mydes Gordon attends a CME church

My name is Rebecca.  During my up-bringing in the Church, I have always felt that something was not quite right. It always seemed too easy to say that it really did not matter if we sinned, because God sent his son, and by Jesus’ death, we were already forgiven.
Yet, for one sin, God threw Adam out of Eden and Satan out of heaven. I have known Randy Hignight for ten years. Randy and I have discussed our beliefs many times during those years. So I was very excited to get Randy’s book “God Expects Perfect”. Even though I had read God’s word many times, I never had the Word of God expressed so concisely and the meaning given so directly. The Bible verses that Randy writes about in the book have really helped me to see the Total Victory In Jesus. They have reawakened in me a wonderful, spirit-filled peace and have allowed me to realize the power of God and Jesus in my life. I now have the tools that allow me to stay in the spirit and recognize temptation and any DIA (Devil in Area) I now see how God allows us to be tempted and those who are strong in their convictions to God will reap great rewards in Heaven. God directed me to 1 Peter 2:13.  “Rid yourselves, therefore of all malice, and all guile, insincerity, envy and all slander.  Like newborns, look for the pure spiritual milk, so that by it, you may grow into salvation.” I urge everyone to read the book, so that they too can experience a closer walk with God. Total Victory Perspective –Rebecca Robertson

Randy, I read your book and I have to say that at first it confused me because I had no idea that some of those things are in the Bible so I looked them up and to my surprise I must have missed that part. But I did look up several things and it really made me look at things differently. The part about the sin cards was clever, Due to the fact that along with myself people do look at sins depending on how bad they are and really a Sin is a Sin because disobeying Gods wishes to be perfect. Great job on the book. And I have passed it along to several of my coworkers to read. I especially liked the part where you talk about the fact the Devil was once an Angel and how he was cast out for his disobedience. A lot of people do not know that he was an angel of God. Again thanks and I will use it as a tool for continuing my quest for understanding more clearly. The Garrison Family

I’ve known Randy over 20 years.  And God has always been first in his life.  So, it’s only fitting he write a book about what he has learned. “God Expects Perfect” is that book.  The book doesn’t tell you anything that you can’t read for yourself in the Bible. But, what it does do is:  (1) Shows you how to focus on God daily, (2) Stay focused on God, (3) the best part – apply this to your daily life. The best part of the book is it makes a great witnessing tool to others.  It’s so easy to talk about. I’ve taught preteens in church for 25yrs. And this book would be a great tool for teaching them. It’s so straight forward, that the kids would pick up on it quickly. Totally satisfied, Dickie Nelson

"God Expects Perfect” is a motivating and enlightening book.  The author has explained how to stop sin at the mere thought of temptation, as he explains what he calls Total Victory Perspective (TVP) in contrast to the more popular belief of the “sin repent club.”  In my heart, I have always believed the truths that this book brings to light, but never realized that it would make such a profound impact on the religious community.  Randy Hignight has written a must read book for all who desire to please God and walk with Him daily. – Sylvia interventional radiology

To: Bill Glass Ministries
I had an opportunity to sit under your ministry back in the late 90's as inmate at Hutchins State Jail, and was at all the meetings that you had while I was there. This letter is in regards to a book written by one of my co workers Randy Hignight has just finished a book titled God Expects Perfect, in this book he opens up a lot of understanding of the expectations of God, and the effect of His power in our lives. I feel that Ministries such as yours and others that I had the pleasure of sitting in would be an asset to the ministry focused on the truth of God's Word and the application of that Word in our lives and, how our lives would be changed. Mr Hignight shares the expectations of what God has to offer but, we have a role to play also. I got out in 1999 and have been living for the Lord since my release and don't want to live any other way. Thank you for your ministry.  yours truly Mr. A

Spiritual Warfare is out there. I was a part of a war that I didn’t even know was going on. I failed to see some of the subtle, and even not so subtle, attacks by Satan in my life. I’ve had the privilege of knowing Randy Hignight personally since I was in high school. As a junior (2003-2004) I studied and learned under Randy where he brought to my attention this whole concept of spiritual warfare and what it meant to truly take captive of my thoughts. “God Expects Perfect” is an amazing book that paints the picture of the Devil’s schemes to make me feel like a failure instead of a child of God. It points to scripture that basically reveals the Devil’s playbook.
"God Expects Perfect” turns you to the Bible to rediscover the power we have in our personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It helps provide a great opportunity to turn to the amazing power of the Gospel.
